"1970 Dodge Swinger"
This was a local Okanagan car, modified for drag racing. After building the 1970 Dodge Swinger for the drags, Gary Sylvester had it painted Plum Crazy purple, a wild Chrysler muscle car color popular in the 70's. Gary raced in Southern British Columbia and Washington for about 10 years. After winning many rounds it was sold to Brian Surina, another enthusiast, in Kaslo British Columbia. The purple Dart continues to be raced to this day. Gary has not given up on his passion for racing and has now built a blown, alcohol injected altered designed for 200mph quarter mile passes.
