A City is Born

The inaugural meeting for the City of Winnipeg took place on the second floor of L.R. Bentley's Hardware January 19, 1874. This historical painting of L.R. Bentley's Hardware was created in 2002 for ProfitMaster Canada who provides software solutions to hardware stores.

The original watercolour was presented to then CEO Neil Dueck prior to the sod turning ceremony for their new building in the Smart Park at the University of Manitoba. ProfitMaster Canada is now a Bell Canada Company.
